Coronavirus: The following regulations have been made for users of the Medical Library

Opening Hours

The locations of the Medical Library are closed to the public until further notice in order to counteract the spread of the coronavirus.

Extensions and reminders

The loan periods of borrowed books are extended until the end of the closing time. There will be no reminder fees.

Electronic resources

Access to electronic resources such as journals, e-books, databases and online learning services is still possible on campus and off campus.

Document delivery for members of the Charité

Orders for journal articles that are not available on the Charité network (or via VPN) can still be placed via the document delivery service of the Medical Library (Doctor-Doc). It is currently neither possible to order books, nor is it possible to order articles from the printed holdings of the Medical Library.

Theses and Dissertations

The publication of dissertations and postdoctoral theses is processed as usual. We request that the printed copies be sent to the library by post only after 1 May 2020.
